Tips and Tricks
Reheating Pies, Pastries and Family Foods
We suggest that you heat your the Village Baker food at an oven of 180C.
The times for each food type are:
Cocktail Food 15 - 20 min
Individual Pies and Pastries 25 - 30 min
Family Pies and Lasagne, Moussaka 35 - 40 min
These food items are microwavable if you are in a hurry and can’t wait for the warming process in the oven.
Even the foil tins that our Lasagne and Moussaka come in can be used in the microwave as long as they have food in them at the time.
Our cakes are stored and displayed in our refrigerated display cabinets to ensure they can be as fresh as possible. To give them optimum taste and pleasure when you eat our creations we advise that you bring them back to room temperature. You can do this by taking the cake out of the fridge about an hour before you serve it up. To help with cutting of cakes we suggest you use a knife that has been warmed in hot water then dried. This should help you get a nice clean cut.
